Casting the 2010 season, to include "Romeo and Juliette" (reh. Feb. 22, 2010; perf. Mar. 13-21) and "La Traviata" (reh. Mar. 29; perf. Apr. 17-25).
Romeo and Juliette—
Dancers: three male and three female, poise and elegance a must, need a solid ballet base and a strong theatrical sense, all dancers will be on AGMA contracts (but do not need to be union members to audition); these are local contracts so everyone will need to have their own local accommodations and provide their own transportation.
La Traviata—
Dancers: three male and three female, Flamenco dancers, puro-style, and flamenco dancers with strong ballet technique or ballet dancers with a strong Flamenco or Classical Spanish technique, for non-Flamenco dancers tap, Irish step, or Latin ballroom (strong upper-body skills a must) are helpful, must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a new style, for non-Flamenco dancers classes in Flamenco before audition are very helpful, especially for men, all dancers will be on AGMA contracts (but do not need to be union members to audition); these are local contracts so everyone will need to have their own local accommodations and provide their own transportation.
