Casting "Roberta Laughs". Rehearsals begin Dec. 1; runs for five performances Dec. 10-13.

Roberta: 75, an extremely independent lady with a knack for big jewelry and arts & crafts, don’t dare try to help her, she can do it "her damn self";

Billy: 65, once a pharmacist, but "we don't really need those anymore, what with machines and with mass production of drugs," a recently widowed man with good manners, don't dare try to do it yourself, he can "do it for you";

Robert: 17, Roberta’s grandson whom she doesn't know very well, constantly tries too hard to be interesting, recently started to play the accordion (ironically) to impress girls, has named his bike Roberta.
