M. Ali is a multi-tallented, DC bred poet, hip-hop, rock and r&b artists and occasional actor that is the founder and lead singer for alternative band, Flipside Babies and was the drummer and background vocalist for Mélange, r&b/caribbean band founded and led by Sarah Jane Thomas of Royal-T Records. He also produces his own tracks as well as for other artists. He is the founder & CEO of Wood Works Entertainment Company as well as Reality Spin Publishing. M. Ali has performeda number of venues all around DC, MD and VA including Lollapaloozathe Nissan Pavilion, Bristow VA, the Mitch Snyder Arts & Education Center, NW DC, 14U Cafe, NW DC, Bohemian Cavern, NW DC, Jokes On Us Comedy Club, Laurel MD, Goa & Cosby's Indian Restaurant, Clinton MD and many more. He has been a lead actor in one movie filmed by Townsond Film major, A. Williams and has been a supporting actor in two other indie film written and produced by Howard U film majors. M. Ali is currently in the studio working on his next album which will be a mix tape featuring himself as well as other local DC metro area artists. He will be executive producer of this album and production assistance will also come from Sarah Jane Thomas of Royal-T Records.

I have enjoyed acting, producing music & films, camera work and writting songs, screen plays, poetry & short storis for 15 years. I can be used effectivly as an artistic & creative advisor, back up camera person or score producer. I accomplish all of this with absolutly NO EGO! My insperation is my beautifull daughter Anisah!
